Hey, my name is Susie - Jane
The owner and photographer behind SJD Photography, based in Mildura, Australia. Mildura is home, but my camera and I travel all over Australia to photograph families, newborns, maternity journeys, and weddings. Wherever your story unfolds, I’m there.
I’m not the “stand still and smile” type of photographer. I’m the one chatting with you, fixing a stray curl, calming nerves, guiding gently, and helping you forget the camera is even there. I want you to simply enjoy being together, because that’s when the real magic happens.
You’ll often see my fiancé Aj at your session too. He’s the bubble master, the laugh‑starter, the quiet helper who makes everything run smoothly behind the scenes. This business wouldn’t run the way it does without him. We’re a team in every sense of the word.

When we’re not photographing beautiful moments, you’ll find us at home in our little theatre room, out playing competition 8‑ball, or driving down a dirt road just to see where it leads. We believe the small things in life matter the most and that belief shapes the way I capture your memories.
